We  have a diverse worship life at Woodlawn, with a regular worship service every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. Worship is led by our ministry team, Rev. Phillip Kennedy, Rev. Mary Lynne Whyte and Shannon MacLean.

Come hear the story of our faith,  listen for the voice of God and the movement of the Holy Spirit in our diverse worship services.

  • The message is shared in story, sermon, monologue, dramatic presentations and sometimes even video.
  • Music is an integral part of worship and different each week. You will hear amazing sounds: choir, anthems, organ, piano, drums, and various different instruments.
  • We have communion several times a year. Everyone is welcome at Christ's table to break bread (Gluten free) and drink the wine (grape juice).

Longest Night Service

Wednesday, December 18 ~ 7 PM

A service acknowledging the darkness (previously called “Blue Christmas”). As we approach Dec 22nd, the longest night of the year, we are reminded of the darkness that sometimes surrounds us. We may find this “joyous” time of year especially difficult, or we may be longing for just a quiet, reflective time to acknowledge that life is not always filled with joy. Perhaps a loved one has died. Perhaps you have lost a pregnancy. Perhaps you’re struggling with
loss, the state of the world, or illness.

This service will acknowledge the darkness as together, we look for little glimmers of hope that shine in that darkness. All are invited to come.
