AED

The Lifepak CR Plus Defibrillator or AED is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to try to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest, a condition when the heart unexpectedly stops beating and can lead to death.

Our AED is located on the wall to the right of the doors of the new addition.

How to use the AED:

1. Try to wake the person if they have collapsed.

2. Call 911 & get the AED
Tell the emergency operator that the person has collapsed and that you have an AED.

3. Turn on the AED & follow the voice prompts
